Size & Style Guide
Which bed suits your cat?
Cats sleep differently — match the bed shape to how your cat actually rests.
Curlers
Tucked tight, nose to tail
Cats that curl into a tight ball prefer the feeling of walls around them. A deep nest or bolster cradles their body and keeps in warmth.

Legs out, fully stretched
Cats that stretch right out need surface area. A flat mat or open round bed gives them room to claim every centimetre.

Elevated, watching everything
Cats that like height and a view prefer off-the-ground resting spots. The macramé hammock gives a gentle sway and a vantage point they love.

Keeping it fresh
Caring for your wool bed
Wool is naturally resilient — a little routine care keeps it looking and feeling its best for years.
Daily care
Give the bed a shake to fluff the wool fibres and clear loose hair. Placing it in indirect sunlight for 15–20 minutes naturally freshens it — wool is inherently anti-microbial and self-regulating.
Spot cleaning
For small marks: dampen a cloth with cool water and a tiny drop of wool wash. Blot the area gently — don't rub. Let it air dry completely before your cat uses it again.
Deeper wash
Hand-wash in cool water (30°C / 86°F) with a gentle wool wash. Squeeze carefully — never twist or wring. Reshape while still damp and lay flat to air dry away from direct heat.
Removable cushions (where included): machine wash on a gentle / delicate cycle in a mesh laundry bag, cool water only.
Do not machine wash the main bed body — heat and agitation can cause the felt to mat or shrink. Hand washing keeps the shape and texture intact.
Handmade in Nepal
Made the old way. No shortcuts.
Each piece is hand-felted in Nepal from 100% New Zealand wool using a traditional wet-felting process. Wool fibres are layered, shaped and worked with water until they form a dense, resilient structure. The result is a product that holds its form, feels completely different to anything mass-produced, and can be reshaped by hand whenever needed.
New Zealand wool
We use 100% New Zealand sheep wool selected for its softness, resilience and natural ability to felt together into a durable structure.
Shaped by hand in Nepal
Artisans layer and work the wool by hand using a traditional wet-felting technique to create each product's structure and form. The main body is formed through felting; decorative details may also be securely sewn depending on the design.
Azo-free dyes
Coloured designs use azo-free dyes. Colour and decorative detail can vary slightly from one handmade piece to another — a natural result of the process.
